Cate B. - Cooking class I wanted something different and decided on authentic Mexican food for my 50th birthday party. The owner is the
lovely Norma and she helped me select a combination of cold and hot appetizers and a variety of freshly made
salsas. Her menu has a much larger variety than one might expect. Everything was delicious. The jalepenos
were so good - stuffed with mascarpone cheese and wrapped with bacon. Everyone liked them. The cream
cheese log was amazing, filled with all sorts of mexicans flavors; avocado, jalepeno, cilantro and roasted pumpkin
seeds. Served with tortilla chips and rice crackers. She also made lamb taquitos, chicken tostadas, garlic shrimp,
mushroom tequilla pate and pulled pork w/chorizo. Everything was bursting with flavor and just the right amount
of "heat" for a crowd. There was also the beautiful fresh fruit platter topped with freshly squeezed lime juice, a
special salt from Mexico and hibiscus flowers. My guests were delighted and impressed! Norma is a class act.
